About Us

The Apostille Co was founded to simplify and demystify the apostille process, after watching people lose weeks, and sometimes deals, to a process that takes an expert a single morning. Odelia Sussman leads our team of apostille and authentication experts.

The business is simple to describe: we get U.S. documents certified for use abroad. Apostilles for the 120-plus countries in the Hague Convention, embassy legalization for the rest. What’s not simple is the machinery underneath: fifty state offices with fifty rulebooks, a federal office with a long queue in Washington, county clerks, registrars, embassies with counter hours measured in minutes. We know that machinery the way a good superintendent knows a building.

Who does the work

Every document that comes through our doors gets handled by someone who has done this hundreds of times before, not a script-reader at a call center. We keep the team small on purpose. Fewer hands on your paperwork means fewer chances for it to go sideways, and it means the person who answers your call actually knows where your document is.
